Dr Sam Wong recently visited a local primary school to talk to students about oral health. He says,
“On a beautiful autumn day I was invited to give a talk to two classes of students in Year 1 and 2 at St Mary School in Sale, Manchester.
“The children learned about how to keep their mouths healthy by looking after their teeth and gums.
“We demonstrated how long it takes to clean teeth and how we should clean them so no areas are missed. The children were quizzed on what food is good for their teeth and they learned about which food has sugar and what should be avoided between meals. The children were also given an introduction pack with a teeth chart, toothpaste and toothbrush!”
