Team Efforts at Revive Dental Care – Monton
I have to let you all know how proud I am of all the girls at Revive dental care – Monton. On Wednesday 11th May the practice closed. While all of our Dentists were on a training course for the new dental pilot scheme, the rest of the team took the opportunity to create a central infection control room.
Central Infection Control Room
This now means that all the instruments from each of the four surgeries are now located in the central infection control room. After buying over 40 instrument boxes and creating picture labels for each one the team took on the mammoth task of organising all the instruments to store them in one location.
Lots of Changes
This change is part of the HTM0105 guidelines that have been enforced to all dental practices. The whole team have had to change the way they set up their surgeries. Luckily for us, our full time Infection Control Nurse (Sue) is ready to jump in with both feet and organise everyone’s instruments for the day.
Dentists
Although our dentists are unable to find their own instruments and love to try and hide their favourites the girls are quickly telling them of the benefits of not having all the instruments in the surgeries. They are now focusing on finding things to fill up their empty draws. Dentists really like new things to try and test out, so no doubt they will be full within the week!

Well done to everyone for working so hard it looks great!
